Key Dates for 2020-21

First day of school: 

  • Sept. 14: Grades 2-6, 7-8 at Timber Ridge only, and grade 9 students.
  • Sept. 15: Grades 7-8 at Calapooia, Memorial and North Albany middle schools and grades 10-12 at high schools
  • Sept.14 – 18: Kindergarten and 1st Grade interviews/orientation
  • Sept. 21: Kindergarten and 1st Grade

Oct. 9: No school

Oct. 23: No school

Nov. 11: No school and district offices closed (holiday)

Nov. 26 – 27: No school and District offices closed (holiday)

Dec. 21 – Jan. 1: No school (winter break)

Dec. 24 – 25: District offices are closed (holiday)

Jan. 1: District offices are closed (holiday)

Jan. 18: No school and district offices closed (holiday)

Jan. 29: No school

Feb. 1: No school

Feb. 15: No school (holiday)

March 22–26: No school (spring break)

April 2: No School

May 31: No school and district offices closed (holiday)

June 16: Last day of school for students (half day)

Registration Reminder

Dear NAMS Families~

We hope that you are staying safe and healthy. We wanted to reach out with a friendly reminder about registration.

If you haven’t done so already you MUST register your student(s) for the Fall semester by Friday, August 7. All of the registration information can be found here.

The direct link to the RegisStar system is: https://albany.registar.lblesd.k12.or.us/en-us/home.aspx

If you are unable to complete the form online or don’t know your PIV number, please call us at 541-967-4541 for assistance.

It is imperative for all students to be registered so we can get an accurate count of our student body and determine those students that have joined or left the district. The model of learning you choose helps us plan for allocation of our resources. This information is vital for scheduling our staff and assessing where needs lie.

We also ask that when you register you please confirm your email address in our system to ensure that you are receiving all district information.

We miss you all very much and can’t wait to see you again!

Report Cards/Promotion Folders

Reminder: Report Cards and Promotion Folders are available for pick up…tonight until 6 pm. Tomorrow the 18th 7:30 am – 3:30 pm. Last day will be Friday 6/19 7:30 am-3:30 pm.

 

Recordatorio: las boletas de calificaciones y las carpetas de promoción están disponibles para recoger … esta noche hasta las 6 pm. Mañana 18 7:30 am – 3:30 pm. El último día será el viernes 6/19 de 7:30 a.m. a 3:30 p.m.
